Shakira talks about the difficult moments of depression when she had to postpone the tour

Shakira, the Latin-pop star in a recent interview has told of her experience of depression associated with vocal cord hemorrhage in 2017, before the El Dorado tour. “I couldn’t be positive, on the contrary, I was very pessimistic. It was very difficult to be near me and my husband Gerard Piqué has experienced it worse than me. Some days I couldn’t even get up because I was depressed.
Things were also made worse by the fact that the El Dorado Tour had to be postponed. Doctors had advised the 42-year-old to undergo vocal cord surgery. She has always refused to experiment with alternative methods such as hypnosis, meditation, and even the blessed water of Lourdes. He never gave up and eventually his voice returned without any operation. The singer has called it a divine intervention.

Luckily she recovered and her mug was held in 2018. For her it was a kind of religious experience. She wanted to make this moment public:
“I take care of my children to learn from the obstacles, difficulties that my father and I encountered. They weren’t born when I lived in Colombia, when all the doors slammed in my face. These are stories I want to tell because life is not always simple and not everything goes as planned, ”Shakira said, confirming that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
