Although for the past 2 years all eyes have been on Meghan Markle, nothing can diminish the brilliance and importance of what is known as the “New Princess of the People” Kate Middleton, especially when it comes to her influence in the field of fashion. The evolution of her style has not only surprised and continues to amaze everyone, but has directly impacted the record sales of some of her favorite clothing and accessories. In other words, it seems that everything Kate Middleton wears becomes a “must” for many women.
But it never occurred to us that the Duchess of Cambridge would have a style fight with Meghan, or rather change her wardrobe after the latter received the attention. According to royal fashion expert and author Elizabeth Holmes, Kate Middleton began to pay much more attention to style when Meghan Markle appeared on stage.
“I think Kate started her ‘fashion game’ in the fall of 2018, certainly after the royal wedding of Harry and Meghan. Kate had just given birth to Louis, she left on maternity leave for two months and when she suddenly returned there was a little more style in her wardrobe.
It could just be a sort of comeback after the birth of a baby or maybe she had started working with some new fashion consultants. But I think Meghan’s performance on stage made everything more exciting for both of them. ” says Holmes as she appeared on Us Weekly series “Royally Us” to promote her new book “HRH So Many Thoughts on Royal Style”.
