Sermiyan Midyat will give life to the character of Mahir Özgüç in the series. Mahir, the leader of the Özgüç family from Mardin, is Hamit’s father and Nisan’s husband. He is the enemy of the smiths and a tough guy.

Born in 02.12.1974, Sermiyan Midyat was born in Ankara Çankaya.
The actor, Sermiyan Midyat, who plays a role in theater, TV series and movies, is of Kurdish origin. He was born and lived in Ankara for 7 years and then settled in Istanbul with his family.
Having received theater training from Ferhan Şensoy, Derya Baykal, Rasim Öztekin and Tuncel Kurtiz at the Sentry Theater (which he entered with an examination in 1998), Sermiyan Midyat studied academic theater from Kadıköy Public Education Center from 1993 to 1996.
After studying for three years at Istanbul University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Chemistry, which he entered in 1994, he left and went to the Faculty of Business Administration. He worked as an actor and assistant director in Kadıköy Public Education Center. Later, he worked with masters such as Haluk Bilginer and Zuhal Olcay.
He took part as a player in Oyun Atölyesi .
Midyat, who has worked in many series and movies, has attracted attention with the role of Arıza Hamza in the Emret Komutanım series.
He wrote and directed 9 months and last days of the first play of the theater called Oyunbozan, which he founded in 2007.
