Dua was born on August 22, 1995 in London, to parents Dukagjin and Anesa Lipa. Her music career began at the age of 14, when she began posting cover songs by other artists on YouTube. In 2015, she signed with Warner Music Group and soon launched her first song.
She has published on InstaStory one of the first gifts she received on her 24th birthday, which is a gem from her boyfriend. I wanted to be in Kosovo earlier this month with her father, Dukagjin Lipa, where they donated funds to build an academy called “Sunny Hill”, as well as the festival her father has been organizing for two years!
